My all time favorite thrift store is located in Bolsward. A small town in the north of the Netherlands. Sometimes when I get there they have just thrown out everything. I really don’t like those days. When everything is empty I know however that they are expecting a lot of new stuff to come in. So I just have to wait a few days and everything will be back to normal.

The tables with ceramics are one of my favorite things in the store. Or maybe I should say the boxes underneath them. That’s where the real treasures are hidden.

They also have lots of playpens with teddy bears, curtains, lace curtains, clothes, pillows and more. The playpen with lace curtains is my favorite!

How do you like your thrift store? Should it be tidy or messy like my favorite thrift store?

Definitely messy because like you said, it’s rewarding to find something pretty or that you know you can reuse amongst the junk and trash.
