Finally the weather is getting better, so it’s time for summer outfits! Well, at least last week it was… Now we need a raincoat. But hey, a girl can dream about summer days and summer outfits, can’t she? I’m all about maxi skirts at the moment and this pretty See By Chloé skirt is one of my favorites at the moment. Isn’t she pretty?
Sometimes it’s so hard to think of a good gift for someone you love. You want to give them something they will use and remember but they already have so much stuff. And to make it even worse: there is close to nothing on their wishlist. So what to do? Well, pick something they love to do and create something that helps them with it! This garden markers are a great example of just that. My dad loves his vegetable garden (I promise I will make pictures this summer, it’s really pretty) but I noticed he didn’t had any garden markers. So I decided to make him some for his birthday. Smoothies are perfect for hot summer weather. I love the taste of it plus it’s super healthy! My boyfriend made this one for me the day my water broke. We thought a few extra vitamins couldn’t be a bad thing! Of course this nectarine, banana and strawberry smoothie would be just as delicious on a regular day. 😉

With the summer just around the corner I just needed some new shorts. The thing is, I haven’t bought one in years.. It’s just that I don’t really like my legs. I do wear a lot of skirts, but sometimes shorts are just more handy. So I decided to buy one.. And another one.. Crazy, I know. But I also wanted to make one. Not from scratch but from an old pair of jeans and some lace. I think it turned out absolutely lovely!
