DIY – Cute animal purse

DIY - Cute animal purse tutorial. Make a this cute bag out of a thrifted bag and some lace curtain! @ By Wilma

This might be my favorite DIY project ever. I’m so in love with this cute animal purse! I bought the bag a while ago at the thrift store. I loved it but I knew I had to make something cute with it. Because this is a small shoulder bag I decided that it would be perfect as a purse. The cute part will be that it will have the face of a really cute animal! I’m not quite sure which kind of animal it has become (maybe a squirrel?) but I’m open to suggestions!

I finally got an iPhone last week. I love what I can do with it. The pictures are so much better than the ones I took with my old (just a few months) smartphone! I really like to keep it that way. That’s why I decided I needed a really cute and functional iPhone case. Of course this would work for any phone. This cute bohemian style iPhone case is made from a small piece of leather I had lying around. You could use some leather out of an old bag or clothing item.

DIY – Lace shorts

diy lace shorts

With the summer just around the corner I just needed some new shorts. The thing is, I haven’t bought one in years.. It’s just that I don’t really like my legs. I do wear a lot of skirts, but sometimes shorts are just more handy. So I decided to buy one.. And another one.. Crazy, I know. But I also wanted to make one. Not from scratch but from an old pair of jeans and some lace. I think it turned out absolutely lovely!

DIY – Lace sunglasses

diy lace sunglasses

I wanted to do a tutorial on sunglasses inspired on the a-morir lace sunglasses. I really like the idea of lace sunglasses and I thought it couldn’t be that hard to do a DIY version of these sunglasses. I wanted to make them a little more subtle and give them my own twist. That’s why I decided to use white lace and white sunglasses for this project. I really like how they turned out! And for those who wonder: you can see pretty good with this sunglasses on!

DIY – Vintage lace purse

diy vintage lace bag mod podge

Do you remember the brown leather purses I found in the thrift store? I posted them last week in ‘Latest thrift store finds’. I really love these little purses. I don’t care that they are scratched and torn. It all adds up to the vintage feel. I love bags with character! But I thought I could make them even a little more special. I really wanted to keep the vintage feel, but I wanted to make the bag more unique. What did I do to make that work? I used lace! And some Mod Podge of course..
