Since Rens has been born, we’ve been taking a lot more pictures. We don’t want to miss anything and remember everything. He is growing so fast! Some clothes that were too large when he was just born, now no longer fit. Of course these pictures would be great in an album but sometimes you just want to do something different. Besides, It’s always nice to have something from Rens with me! That’s why I made this cute notebook. I could have chosen one great photo as a cover but instead I chose a beautiful collage of triangles. A super simple but fun project!

A few days ago I bumped over my wine glass.Thank God it was empty, so mopping wasn’t necessary. But unfortunately my glass was broken; the bottom came off. Basically I can still drink from it, but I’m not planning to hold it all night because I can’t set it down. A shame to throw away right? Okay, let’s be honest, we will not be drinking out of it anymore but it looked like a fun DIY project. A mini bell jar! A wine glass is the perfect shape for this. The mini ‘cake’ plateau I bought at the store, but you can also put the mini bell jar on the table without anything underneath. Tip: the thrift store is filled with saucers without a cup. Perfect in size to slide under your new mini bell jar!

When we have visitors over, I always put some goodies on the table. And preferably something I made myself. Sometimes it’s easy to make something that doesn’t take too much time. This super easy apple pie is one example. The crust is made with puff pastry. Puff pastry with butter to be exact. That is so much better than the normal version! I love my iPhone and I also love the different cases that there are available for it. But sometimes I want something just a little bit more special. Something a little bit more personal and unique maybe. Of course I could just order a case with a personal photo on it. But why should I do that if I could also make my own DIY photo iPhone case ? My couch was in desperate need of some new pillows. I wanted some color in my home and I thought making some colorful pillow covers would just do the trick. Of course I will add more color in the near future but this was a really nice project to start. These pillow covers are the quickest and easiest pillow covers you have ever made.
