DIY – Updated credit card wallet

When I was younger I had a collection of wallets. I think I had about 30 pieces. I still have a lot of wallets but for some reason I mostly just take my cards and put them in my pocket. Stupid, I know. I lost them a few times this way. So I decided I needed a credit card wallet. A cute one to be precise. But they are not that easy to find. So I updated a cheap one from the dollar store. Now it is the cutest credit card wallet ever!

I have a thing for statement necklaces. They can make every outfit go from blah to fab in just seconds. There is just one rule for me when I buy a necklace: it should have a boho feel. This necklace that I got from Happiness Boutique is super cute and I love the boho look of it. I wore it a lot in the last couple of weeks and the quality is pretty good too. Tangle Teezer product review

I really think my hair isn’t that bad. It’s not very thick, but I have a lot of it. But there is always room for improvement. I have to wash and blow dry my hair every day to make it look OK, if I don’t it will look like a frizzy mess and it breaks and tangles super fast in my neck area. So when I got to test a Tangle Teezer brush I thought: maybe this is the answer!

Finally the weather is getting better, so it’s time for summer outfits! Well, at least last week it was… Now we need a raincoat. But hey, a girl can dream about summer days and summer outfits, can’t she? I’m all about maxi skirts at the moment and this pretty See By Chloé skirt is one of my favorites at the moment. Isn’t she pretty?

DIY – How to press flowers with an iron

A little while ago I saw this idea on Pinterest: pressing flowers with an iron. Super handy when you don’t want to wait a few weeks until they are all done and dry. I decided to try it myself. And I must say: it works pretty well! Not every flower is perfect for this and some flowers needed a day or two drying after being ironed. But if you have the right flower, they are absolutely beautiful!

What I wore – Hello sunshine!

Finally: We have sunshine! And lot’s of it! It’s still cold, but the sun makes everything better. I really can’t wait for summer to come.

This skirt is one of my favorites. It has been in my closet for a few years now but I still love it!

DIY – Biodegradable toilet roll planters

I love having my own vegetable patch. We have one large raised bed in the back yard and 4 smaller ones in the garden at the side of our house. We also have a herb garden. This year we will use two of those smaller raised beds for flowers and the other two for vegetables. I always start the seeds indoors and this year I decided to start them in separate planters. To do this I decided to make biodegradable toilet roll planters. Cheep and super effective!
