How to make these delicious Belgium waffles

Mix the yeast with the quarter of a cup of warm milk. Wait approximately 10 minutes, until it’s creamy. Mix in a large bowl the egg yolks, the melted butter and a quarter of a cup of the warm milk. Add the yeast mix, the sugar, the salt and the vanilla to the mix. Mix the rest of the milk and the flour with the mix gradually. Beat the egg whites in a different bowl until they are stiff and white. Mix the egg whites with the rest of the ingredients. Put some plastic foil on top of the bowl and let the mixture rise for about an hour until the volume is doubled.

Now heat up your waffle iron. Read the instructions of your waffle iron to make sure you add the right amount of the mix. Close the lid and bake until your waffle is golden brown. Serve immediately with some vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce!

Bon Appetit!
