Yesterday Kara Nielsen asked me if it was possible to do my decoupage Easter eggs with pictures of her grandchildren. She asked for some advise on how to do this. I think it’s a great idea to decoupage eggs with pictures. That’s why I decided to make a tutorial on how to do this. I will show you exactly how to print on napkins and make these eggs with your own pictures or prints! I’m not going into the details on how to blow out the eggs. If you want to know how to do that you can read my ‘DIY – Decoupage Easter eggs’ post.

How to make these picture Easter eggs
You need one layer of the napkin for this project. Cut on the folds of your napkin so you will end up with a square. Use tape to put the square on the printer paper. Don’t worry about the kind of tape you are using, you will cut it of in the end anyway. Run the paper with the napkin on it through the printer. You can use any picture or print you want. I used this picture. Let the ink dry for a few minutes. Cut out your image. Keep the paper below the napkin, this makes it a lot easier to cut it out. Use Mod Podge to decoupage the pictures on your eggs.
Hope you enjoyed this very last minute Easter egg idea. Do you have something you want a tutorial for?
