I love crocheted clothing and interior products. Unfortunately I can’t crochet myself. I don’t know what it is but maybe I’m just not patient enough. At the thrift store I found this crocheted tablecloth. I thought that it would be perfect for a poncho. This is such an easy craft but I love how it turned out!

How to turn a crocheted tablecloth into a poncho
First you need to decide how big the hole for your head needs to be. In my case I needed one a little bigger than the smallest circle. I decided to make it bigger by making a cut down to the second circle. The best way to do this is to sew first and cut later. So you have to do a zigzag stitch all the way around where you are going to cut. After that you can cut. If you do it the other way around (like me) it’s harder to sew because everything will come loose. That’s it, you can now wear your new crocheted poncho with proud!
