Advertorial

When we bought our house two years ago we made a lot of plans. And then we threw them all away to start over, because unfortunately our budget wasn’t as big as our plans. Oh well, it will still be beautiful when it’s finished! We finally came up with a plan that makes us happy AND is in our budget. We will get a new kitchen, we will knock out some walls (Yay!) and get a new bathroom.
The kitchen will be in a different spot in our plans then it is now. We will also knock out a wall (it sounds so exciting when I state it like that) to make the kitchen bigger. I love cooking and I always wanted a nice big kitchen so I’m super happy about that! But I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with the wall where the kitchen is now. I wanted to do something special, but what? So when I got the change to review Photowall I immediately knew I wanted to try it for my new kitchen. Now I just had to choose one from their collection of almost 15.000 wall murals…

This is the wallpaper I have chosen. It’s called Tangled Jungle – Monochrome. I love the big pattern! We have a lot of color in our home and I wanted something bold, but not to overpowering. Especially because I will be placing a colorful cabinet (maybe pink?) in front of it. I also love the jungle theme because i have a lot of plants in my home.

My wallpaper came in a box, packaged carefully and with glue and instructions.

And this is is how it looks. I have the premium quality and it’s super thick. I’m curious how it will look on my wall, but I guess we have to wait until our kitchen is ready for that. What I love about this wallpaper is that I thought it would be just different shades of grey. But there is a lot of subtle color in it. I tried to photograph it, but it’s hard to see. If you look at the big leaves of the flower you can see it’s a little yellow-ish. So it’s subtle, but it makes the wallpaper more lively.

I also ordered this set of tool with the wallpaper, because I really want it to look as good as possible. We have some experience with wallpaper, but not with this type, so you can never be too sure!
I can’t wait to put this on my wall and if I do I will definitely tell you how it went and show you how it looks!
