DIY – Crocheted tablecloth becomes poncho

crocheted tablecloth becomes poncho diy

I love crocheted clothing and interior products. Unfortunately I can’t crochet myself. I don’t know what it is but maybe I’m just not patient enough. At the thrift store I found this crocheted tablecloth. I thought that it would be perfect for a poncho. This is such an easy craft but I love how it turned out!

Recipe – Homemade tomato sauce

homemade tomato ketchup recipe

I love to use homemade sauces. You know exactly what’s inside them and you can add whatever you like. This tomato sauce is exactly how I like it. It’s a sweet sauce with a touch of sour, just perfect. If you would add some water it would also make a great tomato soup! Store it in the fridge for two weeks or freeze it for later uses.

DIY – Teapot

teapot diy

Do you remember my ‘Today’s color inspiration’ with the teapot? I loved that quote: ‘Hello… Is it tea you’re looking for?’. So I decided to make my own teapot with the same quote. I found a great teapot for this project at the thrift store but they are in ‘normal’ stores not that expensive too. It’s a really easy project and a great gift for a friend who loves tea!

DIY – Braided belt camera strap

recycled belt camera strap diy

I really wanted a new camera strap for my camera. The original Canon strap just doesn’t do it for me. I mean it’s kind of boring. Besides that it’s like running around with a big advertising sign around my neck. I found a braided leather belt at the thrift store and thought it could be a great camera strap! So today I’m going to show you how to make a fabulous camera strap from a braided belt.
