The weather really gets colder now so it’s finally time for fall! The pumpkins and mushrooms can now get into the home. For what is more fun than bringing fall into your home? Now comes the time of warm scarves and hats, of baking cakes and cookies and eating all of that together with a cup of hot chocolate.
How would you prefer to spend a rainy autumn day? XO Wilma
I thought it would be fun to make a pesto bread. Normally we just put the pesto on our bread, but a little variety can’t hurt right? I used ready made pesto for this recipe. Also, I used chicken, red onion and pine nuts in the filling. Really worth trying!

Okay, it’s obviously not real silver in this ‘wood’ bracelet. But you have to admit that it looks like it! I decided to give a bracelet with wood-print a makeover with silver duct tape. This looks like the wood has a silver inlay. Of course you could also take a real wood bracelet for this DIY, but I had this one with wood-print still lying around. I really like the result and I’m sure I will wear this bracelet very often!

As you probably know by now , I love color. Especially in combination with white . Color can make your home look so much more personal, because color has a lot to do with taste . Our house is in that respect not finished . There is still a lot of color to add! We are getting there, but for now I am far from satisfied.
Because we don’t have a big kitchen I think I want a white kitchen . We already have a beautiful light blue painted cupboard and I’m planning to spray paint the lights above the dining table. And don’t forget my light blue 50′s stove! A beautiful KitchenAid mixer definitely wouldn’t look out of place in my dream kitchen, and it’s still high on my wish list!
As you can see in the pictures above: accessories make the kitchen complete. I like the brightly colored trashcan ( picture 4 ). We don’t have place for a beautiful Smeg refrigerator in our kitchen. But it’s so beautiful!
What does your dream kitchen look like? XO Wilma
