Recipe - Kletskoppen

A Kletskop is a classic Dutch cookie. They are sweet but with a little darkness in it. You could garnish desserts with them or just with some tea. Kletskoppen look really delicate but they are very simple to make! Today I’m sharing my recipe for Kletskoppen with you. Enjoy!

How to make Kletskoppen

Preheat the oven at 175 degrees Celcius. Soften the butter and mix al the ingredients in a bowl. Put little dots of the mix on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. If you want a sheet of Kletskoppen so you can break them into pieces you have to put the dots closer together. I like the pieces to be a little bit rough, so I decided to break them afterwards. It really feels and looks home baked this way. Put the Kletskoppen into the oven for 7 til 10 minutes until the dots are smudged into flat Kletskoppen. Put the baking sheet out of  the oven and let the Kletskoppen cool until they are getting a little stiffer. Peel the Kletskoppen from your parchment paper and let cool a little longer. If you have a sheet you can now break them into pieces. That’s it! Bon Appetit! XO Wilma
