Now that I have a stove I am finally able to bake a decent pizza. This last year I only had a combination oven that didn’t really work. There was a point that I just gave up on baking something in that thing. But now I’m able to bake again. And really, this fifties stove is still going strong. I absolutely love how it bakes. This pizza had a simple topping but tasted great! I think the most important thing is the dough. The topping can be anything! Just make it the way you like it.

What you need for pizza
- 7g dry yeast
- 3/4 cup of warm water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 2 cups plain flour
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
For the topping you can use anything. For my pizza I used tomato paste, salami, mozzarella, tomato, onions, rucola and grated cheese.
How to make a great tasting pizza
1. First you have to make the dough. Put the yeast, the salt and the sugar together in a bowl and pour the warm water over it. Whisk until everything is dissolved. Cover the bowl with plastic and leave in a warm place for about 5 till 10 minutes, until bubbles appear. Mix in a bigger bowl the flower with the yeast mix and the olive oil. Put your dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes. Put the dough back in the bowl and put some plastic wrap on top of it. Let it stand for about 30 minutes in a warm spot until your dough has doubled in size. Knead again until your dough is smooth. Now you can create a bottom out of your dough. Don’t make it to thick or it will need to much time to bake. Mine is on it’s thickest points about one centimeter. At this point your pizza is ready for topping. You can use whatever you like!
2. Put your pizza in the oven at it’s highest temperature. In my oven it takes about 10 minutes to bake, but make sure to check and don’t let it burn!
3. And your pizza is done. Bon Appetit! XoWilma
